A popular feature of this unique sale is the all natural trail horse competition starting at 7:00 p.m., on Friday. This competition is open only to horses consigned to the sale and is designed to allow prospective buyers the opportunity to see the horses perform activities consistent with the trail horse environment. This is a judged event with the course consisting of eight obstacles including natural trail hazards, loading in a trailer, and ground manners. The top 10 high scoring horses will be selected to come back Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. for the finals of the Trail Competition.

2nd place – Trophy Buckle
3-5th place – Money awards
6-10th place – Awards

Before the competition on Friday evening, there will be a Grand Entry of Sale Horses and a Gaited Horse “Show Off”.

** If you do not SELL your horse at the sale, you will not be eligible to receive any award payback money. Award monies will then be paid back to the horses that placed in the competition and SOLD in the sale. This is a competition to demonstrate your horses’ trail skills to BUYERS of your horse.
