Flat Hat Farms is a multi-discipline equine facility located within the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia. With nearly 500 acres, Flat Hat Farm is building a horse-centric facility that emphasizes both the mental and physical well-being of our horses. In the very near future, we will have a 16 stall MD Barnmaster barn and a 75’ x 150’ indoor riding arena / multipurpose building. Currently, we offer pasture boarding with shelters, a 60’ round pen, and trailer parking.

To compliment the horse facility, we are developing a wedding / meeting venue that will provide our customers a memorable experience. Our venue is located on a ridge top overlooking a valley west of Salem. Because we are located 30 minutes away from the Roanoke-Blacksburg Airport and 30 minutes from Virginia Tech, we are easily accessible for out-of-town guests.
