2013 Black Friesian/QH Cross Gelding
“Duke” is a beautiful, black, 8 yr. old Friesian/QH cross gelding, standing 15.2 hands. Duke is well rounded and rides great in the arena, riding both english and western. Duke would make a wonderful dressage prospect. He is soft in the face, and handles nicely. He’s also great on the trails. He handles the terrain easily and has been used to fox hunt. 2013 AQHA Sorrel Gelding

Meet “Jasper” a 2013, beautiful AQHA sorrel gelding, standing 16 hands. His sire is the legendary World Champion TE COOLEST, sire of World and Futurity Champions. This handsome gelding had had the fine training that made him a true, all-around horse. He has shown and earned points in open and youth halter, showmanship, trail, western pleasure, horsemanship, hunt seat equitation and hunter under saddle. Jasper has a great mind and a nice quiet temperament. He is a super cute mover, with a good head carriage and way of going. He shows very well in the hunter classes with a nice flat knee and can turn around and then go in the western pleasure and work on a drape rein. This is a great all-around gelding for a youth of any age, or a novice or amateur rider. He was shown at the All American Quarter Horse Congress by a youth rider. He has 36.5 AQHA points. 2015 Brown/White Crossbred Pony Mare

“Daisy” is a 6 yr. old, 14 hand crossbred pony mare standing 14 hands tall. Daisy is a sweet, sweet little mare that is broke to ride western or english and is quiet enough for beginners. We use her regularly in our lesson program for beginner children and adults. Daisy is willing to please and is safe for the beginner learning the basics, or the older kids and adults who like to do more. She trail rides easily, no matter the weather of terrain. We have taken her out on group rides or just the kids out playing around with her. Daisy is fun to ride and she is willing to please. She’s also broke to drive. 2016 AQHA Gray Gelding

Wow! Look at the beautiful steal gray color on this guy, with a big dapple-gray hip and perfect conformation. “Soldier” is a tall drink of water standing 15.3 hands and weighs 1200 lbs. But he is a gentle and sweet as they come. Don’t worry about his height, he will side pass to a log, gate, picnic table, or rock for mounting and dismounting. This gelding neck reins, moves off leg pressure, side passes, and turns around on his hindquarters, smooth and correct. He’s been used to gather cattle in the pasture and push cattle in the stock yard. Soldier is also started on the barrel pattern, but would make a great ranch or english show horse also. Soldier also enjoys trail riding. He’s spent many miles packing saddle bags. He maneuvers all trail obstacles, with no spook or hesitation. He will give confidence to the most timid rider. You couldn’t ask for better ground manners. He stands for saddling, bathing, clipping and for the farrier. He will kindly drop his head to make bridling an ease. 2013 Grey Draft/Cross Gelding

“Fabio” is 15.3 and a Drop Dead gorgeous, grey gelding. He has a mane to his shoulder, big bodied draft cross gelding that rides around like a little quarter horse. This is one of our personal horses that has been a part of our family for several years. We have used him in every aspect of our operation. From lessons to trail rides to ranch work and photo shoots. He is very broke in the ranch horse world or in your back yard family operation. One hand neck rein, drops his head down and rides wherever you point him. He rides bareback and bridle-less, outside on the trails and in the arena. His favorite thing to do is to ride with his best friend the brahma calf Willie. 2013 AQHA Palomino Gelding

“Flash” is a beautiful 8 yr. old gelding that stands 15.1 hands. If he was a girl, he’d be a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. He is blond with lots of chrome. He loves people, you can catch him anywhere and he will ride all day long. He has been in our family for most of his life. He is a kind horse that is not bossy with other horses or people. We have used him here on the ranch for all of the family to ride. Flash has been around cattle, dogs, and all of the usual ranch life. He has carried the American flag in the grand entry of our local rodeo. My 9 yr. old granddaughter has ridden him a lot on the trails and around the ranch. 2011 AQHA Bay Roan Gelding

This is “Rhinestone ID Jubal” a registered 2011, bay roan gelding that is well broke to ride, and an experienced ranch horse. He has been used to load out semis, check cattle, sort pairs, and work at the stockyards. He has also been trail ridden and will go anywhere he is asked, willingly and bravely. He will ride out alone without hesitation. He will cross all trail obstacles quietly. He will lope around nicely, stop on whoa command, back up, and move off of leg cues. He stands 15.2 hands tall. He is 10 yrs old and well bred. He has TWO ID BARTENDER on his papers. He will sit down and turn around when asked. He has been to several sortings, pennings and lopes the barrel pattern. He is a super fun horse to ride, with a ‘can do’ attitude. Anyone that rides him enjoys his handle, athleticism, and style.


2014 Grey John Mule

“Blue Grass is an 8 yr. old, 15.3 hand, grey, John Mule. In 2019 he had training in groundwork and manners for 3 months with Mark Noel. From there he went to Sunny Side Farm in Tennessee for 3 months of serious training in trail riding, honing his good trail skills, backing, side passing, etc. Nov. of 2020 Blue Grass traveled to Illinois to Dave Recker’s to learn to lay down for mounting. In 2021 he is working with Hollis Emmons in Tennessee in trail riding, road (traffic) riding, and beginning driving. He had also been working on all kinds of obstacles. Besides laying down to be mounted, he can be mounted from a bucket, mounting block, log, or whatever it takes. On the trail, he leads, follows, or hangs in the middle. Blue Grass stands quietly for grooming, farrier or vet. Clippers are no problem. He steps in and out of a trailer with ease. This great, handsome mule has the foundation to be a Forever Partner.
